Mike and Mike return with a mid-break show with reviews of ‘Source Code’, ‘Fast Five’ and ‘Thor’. The guys also too a look at this Summers upcoming movies and gave their opinion of whether they would take time out of their schedule to see them. Both of them have been fans for a long time, so they talked about Steve Carell’s departure from The Office and a couple other new tv series they have watched and have plans to watch when they debut. This and more!

The Reel Review #103 – Sucker Punch

Mike and Mike return for what they called their “Season Finale”. They have decided to take some time off to take care of some personal matters, and get caught up on their movie and TV show watching so they can return later this Summer with a new found knowledge to share with their fans. On this episode, the guys take a look at the new in theater releases ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ and ‘Sucker Punch’. They also weren’t scared to go back into the water by taking a look at the Four Movie series ‘Jaws’. With Smallville ending soon, they took some time to recap what has happened so far this season and gave their real thoughts of the series both of them have followed for 10 years. This and the usual upcoming DVD and Theater releases and the Box Office Report.

The Reel Review #102 – Limitless

Mike and Mike are back after a much needed week off to catch up on all the movies that they wanted to see and talk about. This week they reviewed all current in theater releases by talking about ‘Red Riding Hood’, ‘Kill the Irishman’, ‘Battle: Los Angeles’ and the current #1 movie in America, ‘Limitless’. Of the four movies, two of them were called unoriginal and rip offs of movies from the past….which ones were they talking about? They also took a look at the entire ‘Lord of the Rings’ Trilogy and for the first time in the show’s history, two perfect 10′s were given out by both of them. ABC’s ‘V’ had its season finale last week…..what did the guys think about the Season 2 end and are they still looking forward to the upcoming Season 3? All this and some news, a happy birthday wish to William Shatner, the upcoming DVD and Theater releases and of course….the Box Office Report….oh yeah….and Chicken Feed.

The Reel Review #101 – The Adjustment Bureau

Mike and Mike are back (and tired) for another brand new show. This week they take a look at a couple new Theater releases, the comedy  ‘Take Me Home Tonight’ and the action thriller, ‘The Adjustment Bureau’. They also took a look at the DVD movies, first being the 1988 “classic ‘Killer Klowns from Outer Space’ and the 2010 Romantic Drama, ‘Going the Distance’.  They also took a look at another Matt Damon project by reviewing the entire “Bourne’ Trilogy. Celebrity Warrior makes another appearance, this week we see a battle of Charlie Sheen characters, as Charlie Harper (Two and a Half Men) takes on Topper Harley (Hot Shots). There can be only one “Winner” in this epic battle…..and it will not be who you may expect. All this and a little news and the upcoming DVD and Theater Releases and of course this past weekends Box Office Report!

The Reel Review #100 – Hall Pass

Mike and Mike are back for the show’s first major milestone, they have reached 100 shows!  On this special show, they reviewed the new in theater releases ‘Drive Angry’ and the comedy ‘Hall Pass’ along with the straight to DVD movie ‘The Dark Side of the Moon’….no, this has nothing to do with Pink Floyd. They also took a look at another movie series, this time reviewing the entire ‘Shrek’ franchise. In honor of the 100th show, they brought back a couple of segments….first they crowned the Top Movie Franchise with help from the chat room by doing a Movie Madness bracket. How did the ‘Batman’ series fair against the likes of ‘Harry Potter’, ‘Twilight’ ,’Toy Story’ and one of the other 24 franchises that made the list? Not only did they talk about the 83rd Academy Awards show, but they brought back Celebrity Warrior with an Oscar twist. This is definitely a battle you do not want to miss! All this and the usual Box Office Report, DVD and Theater releases and even a preview of the new Dancing With the Stars….can Ralph Macchio take down Hines Ward and Kendra Wilkinson? This is one show you do not want to miss!

The Reel Review #99 – Unknown

Mike and Mike return for another brand new show. This week they took a look at the independent film ‘Vanishing on 7th Street’ along with the new theater releases ‘I Am Number Four’ and the Liam Nesson thriller ‘Unknown’. One of these films really confused the guys with its story, one of them was good until the plot twist and one was pretty good….which was which? Jak is back again for another movie review. This week they sent him to see the animated ‘Gnomeo and Juliet’. What did he think of this take on Shakespeare‘s classic? They also took a look at what Mike A calls a “one part trilogy” with the ‘Matrix’ Trilogy. With the Academy Awards this coming weekend, the guys looked at some of the major categories and gave their thoughts and predictions on the winners and losers. This and the usual Box Office Report and upcoming DVD and Theater Releases!

There are some audio issues throughout the beginning of the podcast but we were able to correct them about half way through. We apologize for the poor quality!

The Reel Review #98 – Sanctum

Mike and Mike return after schedule conflicts caused them to miss last week’s show. This week they had a lot to talk about by reviewing the in theater movies ‘Just Go With It’, ‘The Eagle’ and James Cameron’s ‘Sanctum’. Jak was asked by the guys to go see the new Justin Beiber movie but refused and ended up seeing another movie that he chose because of the “Hot chicks on the poster”….yes…he went and saw “The Roommate’….how did he like it? Mike K has been sick so he spent the weekend laid up on the couch watching movies and tv shows, so he reviewed “Hellraiser 2″ and finally saw the web tv series that the other Mike has been talking about for a while now, ‘The Guild’ along with ‘Stargate SG-1: Season 4′. What did he think of these shows? They also reviewed the entire ‘Toy Story” Trilogy. This and the usual Box Office Report and upcoming DVD and Theater Releases and they even talked about how they spent their Valentine’s Day.

Mike returns after two weeks of being stuck working late to join the other Mike and is finally able to give his review and thoughts on the critically acclaimed movie ‘The Kings Speech’ along with the Spanish film ‘The Orphanage’.  The other Mike talk about his experience with the new Jason Statham movie ‘The Mechanic’ and then the two of them also discuss the entire ‘Jurassic Park’ Trilogy as well as the new Anthony Hopkins movie ‘The Rite’. Jak also returns with another movie review, this week he took a look at another movie getting rave reviews but the guy refused to see in ‘Black Swan’. They also took a brief look at the Screen Actors Guild Awards results along with the upcoming DVD and Theater Releases and the Box Office Reports.

Mike again fly’s solo as the other two are stuck at work for another week. This week he takes a look at the current theater releases ‘Country Strong’ and ‘No Strings Attached’. How did he think Natalie Portman’s chances to win an Academy Award were effected by the Romantic Comedy with Ashton Kutcher? He also reviewed the 1991 Charlie and Martin Sheen movie ‘Cadence’ and took the suggestion from a listener to review not just one of the Back to the Future movies, but to review the entire Trilogy as a whole. What did he think? Jak returns for another movie review, and this week he went to see the animated “Yogi Bear’. What did he think of his remade childhood hero? He also previewed the 83rd Academy Award Nominations and as usual talked about the upcoming DVD and theater releases and the Box Office Report.

With Mike and Lon stuck at work, the other Mike takes a stab at the show solo. On this show he takes a look at the animated DVD releases ‘Coraline’ and ‘The Ant Bully’ along with the WWII DVD movie ‘The Great Raid’. With a little help from The ESCape Show’s and G-Net Radio’s own Jak, he also reviews the new Kevin James and Vince Vaughn comedy ‘The Dilemma’ and the Seth Rogan superhero film ‘The Green Hornet’. The 68th Golden Globe Awards was just held, so Mike goes over the winners and gives his opinion of them…..and his real feelings on Glee. All this and the upcoming DVD and theater releases and the weekend’s Box Office Report.
